New Leash on Life is a thrift store in downtown Frankfort offering vintage clothing, furniture, antiques, and much more. By shopping at New Leash on Life, you’re not just finding great merchandise at low prices….you are helping our area’s homeless animals.  The proceeds from New Leash on Life go directly to support the Franklin County Humane Society.

Shopping is a easy and fun way to support our local animals because the store's merchandise changes from week to week. We often times have adoptable animals available for viewing as well so just stopping by for puppy kisses or cat cuddles is fun too.  The store is operated by volunteers and a part-time professional manager, and all net profits go to the animals in need.

How to help

Wondering how you can help? First, stop in and look around. Shop! Second, donate. The store accepts vintage clothing, linens, small appliances, crystal and china, furniture in good repair, rugs, jewelry, toys, and so on.  Third, volunteer. The success of the store depends greatly on dedicated volunteers, since the store is run primarily with volunteer labor.
